Customer Information & Policy Terms
Peace of Mind Protection: A comprehensive policy designed to cap the customer's financial liability for accidental exterior body damages. By choosing this plan, liability is capped to a nominal sum, avoiding high repair claims under the terms outlined below.

Special protection-plan rates reflect a flat ₹3,000 reduction from standard tariffs. The rightmost column shows the maximum customer liability if the plan is declined.

02 CORE COVERAGE INCLUSIONS
Absolute Financial Capping at ₹3,000
The renter's liability is strictly capped at ₹3,000 per incident. The excess repair or downtime charges are fully absorbed by Bins Cars.
03 ESSENTIAL POLICY CONDITIONS

Mandatory Pre-Trip Opt-In
The protection plan must be opted and paid for prior to vehicle handover and trip departure. Once the trip commences, this plan cannot be retroactively added.

Full Refund Prior to Trip Start
If the customer opts to decline or cancel the plan before the trip starts, 100% of the plan fee will be refunded immediately with zero deduction.

Non-Refundable Post Trip Commencement
Once vehicle handover is executed and the trip has started, the protection plan becomes strictly active, non-cancellable, and entirely non-refundable irrespective of incident occurrence.

Mandatory Incident Notification
In case of any accidental impact or collision, the customer must promptly alert Bins Cars support helpline and submit all mandatory documentation without delay.
04 MANDATORY ACCIDENT REPORTING PROTOCOL
Legal Obligations: The customer is legally responsible for fulfilling all police and administrative reporting formalities. A valid General Diary (GD) entry or formal police report is obligatory.
- Police GD Entry: File and secure a certified GD (General Diary) copy or formal accident report from the local police authority having jurisdiction.
- Rental Vehicle Verification: Provide high-clarity photos clearly showing the rented Bins Cars vehicle and its registration number plate.
- Accident Scene & Damage Footage: Supply clear photos and videos capturing the wider accident location and all visible exterior damages.
- Third-Party Identification: Capture photographs of the other involved vehicle, its number plate, and driver contact if applicable.
- Immediate Evidence Sharing: Send digital copies of all photos, videos, and documents to Bins Cars support at the time of the incident.
Non-Compliance Liability: If the mandatory GD entry, police record, or real-time accident evidence is withheld or missing, the protection plan shall not apply, and standard full-liability rates shall take effect.
05 POLICY EXCLUSIONS (NOT COVERED)
| Tyres & Wheels | Tyre punctures, sidewall cuts, rim cracks, bursts, or complete tyre replacement expenses are not covered. |
| Interior Damages | Damage to upholstery, dashboard components, displays, burns, tears, spills, or interior mechanism abuse. |
| Legal & Penal Liabilities | Third-party claims, court liabilities, police compound fines, traffic challans, and statutory penalties. |
| Negligence & Misuse | Drunk driving, unauthorized third-party driving, off-roading, river wading, or unapproved roadside tampering. |
| Rental Operations | Fuel balance deficits, excess kilometers, late return penalties, and FASTag toll dues are charged separately. |
06 SECURITY DEPOSIT & DAMAGE SETTLEMENT
Where a standard ₹5,000 refundable security deposit is maintained, any eligible exterior-damage liability under this plan is capped at a maximum of ₹3,000. Upon deduction of the eligible claim amount, the remaining ₹2,000 balance will be promptly refunded to the customer, provided no other dues exist. The protection fee itself is non-refundable once the journey begins. Non-covered damage, interior issues, fuel deficits, or traffic fines will be billed and adjusted independently.
Customer Declaration: By opting for this protection plan, the hirer affirms having fully read and accepted the coverage terms, exclusions, reporting rules, pre-trip cancellation rights, and liability limits set forth by Bins Cars.
